Killing Field

As death overtakes you, the last prayer to Marron leaves your lips. An angel dressed in mithril carries your soul to the blood-drenched battlefield that will be your home forever. As his faithful, you know you will always live in that adrenaline-laced high knowing every last fight was the decisive victory to turn the tide. Across from you and your command tents lay the hungry, failing damned cast out here for their sins, doomed to always be slain in the afternoons, buried in the evenings, and revived in the mornings under a sun that never sets in service to a god that will never have mercy.

Geography

Endless drylands with patches of grass but no tree cover or water. Hills that lift up towards a beating sun that never sets. Dunes as far as the eye can see in all directions and rocks even further.

Fauna & Flora

Demonic hyenas that cackle at failures and agony. Devilish vultures always sitting just in the corner of your eye waiting for you to fall. Snakes always just beneath the surface of the sand.
