Ibaruh (I-bar-ruh)

Overview

  Ibaruh is the longest-lasting language, within its words, is hidden the true meaning of the words. The words like ''death'' and ''destruction'' can not be learned ideally. One must be prepared to learn the language, for without the right magical items, or without the mental capabilities needed, it may prove to be fatal...  

Origin

It is said to have originated back when the world was a sandbox made by gods, as a pastime. The words they spoke held such power that they could summon a sea or make the mountains float into the sky. Their language was too powerful so they devised to make a ''fake'' language, that wouldn't be as catastrophic to use. As generations continued, and the world was forming as we know it today, the language was laid dormant in the memories of the ancients. For the following generations the language was not taught, for not all could withstand learning it, and in this new world, it was not needed, for the world was complete in their eyes, with nothing more needing to be added.   The language can still be learned, it is said that by studying the true nature and being of a concept or idea, it is able to magically obtain the words of Ibaruh from a higher plane.   There was a wizard once, who wanted to learn the word ''immortality'' in the Ibaruh tongue, going against the advice of his comrades to not go through it, he pushed on and spent most of his life studying the word when he was connecting to the higher plane through magically induced translucence he was cursed for his efforts and made to wander the world as a forever dammed soul, he was the first lich to be...
The 12 pages are said to be written in Ibaruh, explaining the power they hold.   Giant glyphs are a watered-down version of Ibaruh.
