Dark Land born

Dark Land born are natives to the Dark Lands and growing up there has left its mark on them. DL born are usually less energetic and down to earth and their skin tone is paler compared to their forgoers, a way people judge, how many generations a person might be native to the land is by the paleness of their skin, snow-white believed to be 3 generations down, in this continent with no natural sunlight. The DL born have a natural-born instinct for survival. They can sense the presence of a predator, they have eyes adapted for darkness and they have a keen hearing to top it all of.

The usually used language is common, but the dialect varies. It is said that the NE side of the Continent talks like from the mainland and that the more you go SW the less you can understand if you haven't been around for a while.

There is no common etiquette to speak of. Everyone does their doings in their own way. The only common etiquette rule is that you show thanks, to your host, savior, or person who has been of value to you.

There isn't a dress code, and everyone is just wearing whatever hemp shirts and shorts that they have. Good warm clothing is an uncommon commodity in the Dark Land.

Common Taboos

It is taboo to turn down a traveler if you have lodging and food to give. It has become a saying: "The man who will not share his bread will choke on it", it is based on a true story.
