The Grand Plains
The Grand Plains exist on the Main Continent. It covers a vast amount of the Main Continent with the Silvering Ocean to the West of it, the Golden Sea to the South, the Collective Forests to the East, and the Dragon's Peak Mountains to the North/North-West. One major city resides in the Grand Plains, and at least 11 other small villages, townes, and Hamlets together. The Major City is known as Kalvose, and to name a few villages are, Coone, Juliet, Foose, and Watell. It used to be the home of the Great Forest until an event eroded and destroyed the very Redwoods that reached high towards the skies.
Geography
The Grand Plains, take up the majority of the West side of the Main Continent. The lands are very Plain and are extremely fertile despite the erosion and destruction of the Great Forest that once stood upon it. The land has become a bastion for farmers, orchards, and pastures. To the North East of the Grand Plains, is the Zilvra River which runs through it before reaching out to the Ghost Ocean to the North. During the Summer, snow melts from the Dragon's Peak Mountains and flows underneath the earths of Orion underneath the Grand Plains revitalizing the land itself to a great richness for animals, crops, and creatures alike.
Fauna & Flora
The beasts that roam the land here feed on the rich grass that grows. The Humanoids feed upon the rich fruits, vegetables, and crops that grow in the soil. The Grand Plains are home to several beasts including but not limited too, Deer, Elk, Wolves, Horses, rarely species of birds, buffalo, several rodents of varying types, and many more beasts. Varying types of flowers grow here, some are unique to the Grand Plains, the Sun's Star (A Yellow flower that has five petals that reach towards the sun when it is in the sky and will follow its cycle for the day), The Indigo Rose (A rose that shifts from purple to blue to green to crimson randomly throughout the day), and though rare, the 8 Clover (A clover with 8 cloves that is said to grant luck to those afflicted by a disease or sickness, but will wilt once used. Which is said to be a sign that it has sacrificed its luck to give its effects.) Some things do not grow here though, including trees, mushrooms, and several herbs (Unless on farms).
Natural Resources
Many domesticated animals for farming, but several beasts roam the lands grazing or hunting other beasts that roam. Many wells have access to underwater mountain water that drains from the Dragon's Peak Mountains in the Summer. The Zilvra River runs through the North East of the Grand Plains. There aren't caves that are accessed through the Grand Plains due to its flat nature. It does contain a waterfall known to visitors and villagers of Coone known as Mirage Falls. It is known for its natural beauty and serenity that one feels there. It is believed that the waterfall refills itself, due to it collecting an extremely high supply of mountain water during the summer months that last all year.
