Shadra

Shadra The most varied continent on Orb, Shadra has its share of swamplands, forests, mountains, and plains. Additionally, Shadra is the most densely populated continent and is home to the largest established cities in the world. Among the most impressive hubs of civilization are Port Sherwood and the House of Tork.
History

The Beginning Times: In The Beginning Times, Shadra was home to many different creatures. The old races worked in harmony with these creatures to build their few civilized homes. The practice of utilizing a creature's unique abilities to benefit the lives of a civilized populace is still carried on through the residents of Port Sherwood. Shadra lived in peace for many years.
The Rise of the Demon Lords: But that peace was interrupted when the Demon Lords rose and waged war over Orb. Shadra was specifically the domain of the Demon Lord Graz'zt. Being skilled in trickery and deception, Graz'zt thrived in the more densely populated region of Shadra and infiltrated most of the continents most prestigious governing bodies. The war amongst the Demon Lords was cut short as Pale Night, Mother of Demons, called them back to the Abyss.
The Era of Rebirth: Shadra was then given time to rebuild. The Order of the White Rose took control over much of Orb lead by the three Ancient Dragons. Each dragon took dominion over one of the three continents of Orb. Fel Medax, the Green Emissary, took dominion of Shadra, expelling Graz'zt's influence over the people there.
The Demon Wars: The Demon Lords returned to Orb after a few centuries with the intention of using it as a battlegrounds to determine the victor once and for all. However, they were met with much more resistance from Orb's people this time. Shadra became the militant center of Orb due to its large, fortified cities and plentiful resources. The war waged many years until the Ancient Dragons and their order drove back the Demon Lords and made their final stand at Port Sherwood.
The Era of Peace: Following the war, Shadra was once again allowed to build back better. With less threat of the Demon Lords returning, Shadra focused on trade and culture. The Order of the White Rose continues to watchfully protect the continent and all of Orb in the event that a Demon Lord decides they are not finished with their world.
