University District

The university-district of Saltor is an exclave of the city proper, housing roughly 20'000 people of highly educated backgrounds between walls of steel and brass. It also includes the University of Humanity, the University of Progress, and the Academy of Arcana in their entirety.
The University-District is connected to the Tower-District via the so-called Uni-Tunnel, which uses pseudo-teleportation techniques to propel pedestrians from one district to the other.
It is also the only part of the city whose foundation has been artificially dried up and reinforced, as it does not belong to the original surviving grounds of The First Great Flood.
