Seaman's Bottle

A spell that summons a tidal wave from nothing, considered the most powerful alchemical and water-based spells. This idea is solidified by the potential of the spell, capable of unleashing city-level destruction.   The wind blew strong, pulling at the cloak of Kkao Zheylh. She clutched a small bottle filled with spinning water; desperate to escape, the Magic pushed against the edges of the bottle, striking against the glass as it wrought to be freed.   Taking a breath, Kkao held the bottle tip down. Her hollowed eyes were facing out towards the horizon where a distant city could be seen but her attention honed in on a nearing figure marked with a white cloak. Uncorking the bottle, tension filled the air as Magic expanded. Water, far more than could have been condensed into such a minuscule container, poured outwards and washed down the mountain with growing speeds.   Crashing, sea met spell, the water fell upon the figure, washing them away.

Effects

Seaman's Bottle is a powerful spell, meant to have a disastrous effect by way of summoning large amounts of water. Due to this, access to the spell and necessary materials are limited to only to the most trusted of Sorcerers -- as decided based on the Ranking of Sorcerers. The Seaman's Spell is one of the most dangerous spells, slotted into the "storm" spell category due to having a similar effect to several of the more powerful "Storm" spells.

Main Effects

The spell is designed, through the included materials and casting stages, to summon forth a large-scale wave from the point of origin. This has been used to wipe away cities in seconds, water pouring from the spell origin with large amounts of force. The results have been called both a "tsunami" of magic and a "tidal wave capable of rivaling the ocean".

Side Effects

The spell, because of the materials used, creates saltwater in opposition to the expected freshwater genesis. This is due to the fact that the base aqueous ingredient of the spell is seawater; to be precise, the saltwater is the main ingredient. The idea of using salt water is unique among spells, originally thought up by the creator of the spell, Kkao Zheylh. Overall, the use of saltwater is usually overseen or considered insignificant, but paramount in its necessity, the exchange for freshwater causing consistent failure.

Author's Notes

This was meant for World Ember, but I accidentally deleted a bunch of stuff. So it's out now. I am happy with where I got everything to, even if it wasn't the most effective.   There are several places that are a little lacking, though I can't remember where everything is meant to go. If you have anywhere you think should be re-written, feel free to leave suggestions in a comment.
