Jump Beacons

It was said that the first pioneers of space had to use their sublight engines to traverse the vast emptiness of space, resulting in the legacy ships. Along their way, they laid jump beacons, large antenna arrays and specialized communications equipment, that allowed future travelers to jump the distance through use of a warp drive. Given that these were the Selta'kowar and not humans, we have no way to gauge the accuracy of these claims, but they exist regardless.
They allow ships to home onto their signal and provide a jump calculation to intercept with the beacon. This prevents ships from being sucked into gravity wells while traversing the warp.
