Warp drives

Capable of folding the fabric of space between two points, provided that sufficient calculation and compensation for stellar effects has been completed. It is used to instantly pass between points in space.
The use of Jump Beacons has greatly improved the speed of transit and allowed smaller ships the ability to jump across the void of space.
The warp drives required to do direct interplanetary jumps are massive things rarely found on anything smaller than a heavy cruiser or a capital ship. These need to be supported by supercomputers and teams of divination mages capable of anticipating shifts and alterations in the weft of space.
