The Juniper Slaughter

On this day, many years ago, thousands died to the Vesuvulans horid attack. It was a slaughter, but our queen managed tto save us before any more blood was shed. We celebrate the lives of the people we lost that day in the form of a huge carnival and festival

History

13 Juniper 105, the slaughter began. The warforged of Vesuvula came in fleets of troops, annihilating our unarmed, unsuspecting civilians. We celebrate over the seven days (Until 19 Juniper) in the form of a huge carnival, telling stories of our once great queens noble actions and give thanks to what the lost gave us. We do not like to mourn, it is not in our nature

Execution

We decorate the city in colorful ribbon and doilies. We have parades and bonfires and eat feasts and drink mead. We celebrate, we rejoice!
