The Raladarag

The Raladarag is a region on the economic periphery of the Liruma Mandate that is partially integrated into the Mandate economy. Globally, it is known for its political instability, partly as a result of incursions by the Fifu Empire in the 5100s and today due to economic influence by the modern Mandate and the superpower's conflict with the regional powers Punlar and Jingity, as well as the Free Traders Union also bordering the region and several polities affiliated with the Rose Commission. It is also situated at a confluence of "weirdspace" stargates, which has made it a popular tourist hub, though warfare in the region threatens this. It is located in the brane EvaLHN 6722.

Geography

The Raladarag lies on the border of the Punlar open cluster which is intersected by the stellar comoving groups Aduch and Adurom. Open clusters often contain young, high-metallicity stars, with higher concentrations of platinum-group elements in their rock. Stellar comoving groups tend to be much older, consisting of stars that have broken away from the gravitational binding of their parent cluster but whose trajectories can still be traced to a common origin. They are of interest to mining firms seeking access to rare lithophile elements (such as rare earths, coltan, HFSE / LILE).
Lajuz is a large blue giant star roughly 300 LY distant from the Raladarag region. It is the closest giant star used in the Rucha Gajaj (RG) astrogational starmap catalogue for EvaLHN 6722.
