Sanguinite

A strange metallic mineral like material that is formed when exposed blood is exposed to massive burst of untamed magical energy. It has several uses for vampires that is in a location far away from potential prey. I refined pellet of Sanguinite can be placed in a container of water, which will turn the water into a bland blood like fluid that can nourish the vampire for a time as a survival ration. It can also be used as a universal donor blood in the case of a need for transfusions. With some enchantment a necklace can be made from it that suppresses sun sickness and and the aversion to flowing water.
