kin born (half elf)

When an elf is born of union of elf and any other species they are Kin born. elves can have offspring with many other species. Commonly kin born are half human and inherit some of the more beneficial qualities that the nonelven parent would pass on. For some strange reason couplings between elves aside from deep dwarves and void elves often often fail to become viable.

Elf elves are a common and long lived race that suffers from a slow natural in race gestation. mixing blood is a common idea to shore up numbers, but many elf nobles find the idea repugnant.
