Elf

The magical aura surrounding elves were not lost on their Lymian kin, though their numbers were small. Instead, the region were famously inhabited by the Avariel , majestic flying elves that lived secluded lives in their crystal palaces hidden away from the world below. Elves that were not Avariel usually hailed from the south-eastern elven realm of Vylenthaal, a close ally of the Phelorian Empire that now ruled the lands of Fallen Ishkar. 
The elves that could be found in the metropolitan cities of the region were often on scholarly pursuits. Like the ancient Ishkari, the elves of Vylenthaar had an interest in magical designs and magical longevity, which had long been a defining interest of the deities in the The Ishkari Pantheon . Some elves were more concerned about the state of the land, and the absence of life as a result of the dying curse of the goddess that died here. These elves were known as the Green Knights, and rarely did they concern themselves with politics of the land, preferring the company of those that, like them, wanted to help heal the land itself.
