The Pillar of Retribution

The Pillar of Retribution is the original marker of the border between The Kingdom of Adiril and the Desert Elves of the Melisal. It a pyramid-shaped obelisk engraved with Elvish word of warning to Adirilian invaders. The Statue is topped with the skull of Adirilian King Ashenafi Shol. King Ashenafi was the first to invade the Elves, and the first to die.

Purpose / Function

To ward off Adirilian invaders and mark the border. Any who passed this point died.

Alterations

The only major alterations to this site happened when the site switched possessions from the Elves to Adiril. The Adirilians built Grimvalley with the Pillar at its center.
