Black Magic

Death, Curse, and Time Magic are the three types of magic that fall under the category of Black and are considered by most to be forbidden.   ---Death Magic =Death Magic pertains to corrupting a person, creature or thing’s Majai; instead of sustaining life as Majai, Black Majai infuses the target with the specific purpose of causing death. This differs from spells that harm and, as a result, kill, such as Fireball and Poison Spray, because instead of creating a natural effect, Death Magic changes the very essence of Majai to achieve death. Death Magic is the most common and deadly of the Black Magics, and is frowned upon if not outright banned in most circles. The basic command given to Majai in Death Magic is “to kill”   ---Curse Magic =Curse Magic causes, in the target, a conversion to Black Majai. A person affected by Curse Magic finds themselves losing control of themselves often not only physically, but mentally; many curses involve madness or loss of limb vitality. Curse Magic slowly converts a creatures Majai into Black Majai, creating every growing pain and suffering. While similar to Death Magic, the overall intent of Curse Magic is not to kill a target, but to bring it to ruin. The basic command given to Majai in Curse Magic is “to corrupt”   ---Time Magic =Time Magic is, by far, the most forbidden among the Black Magics. If not constrained properly, Time Magic can forcibly cause not only an individuals, but the entire world’s Majai to move backwards/forwards through time, drastically changing the fate of any and all who are affected. While this magic does not forcibly change anything’s personal Majai from normal to Black, it does cause Majai to be in a state of limbo between the two for a short period. Time Magic, like Seer Magic, can only be achieved with cataclysm-level amounts of Majai. The Basic Command given to Majai in Time Magic is “to reverse/accelerate”
