Reliquaris
A rocky, lively country known for its national businesses and its shipping. Wealth, power, and merit is highly coveted. Merchants, mercenaries, and powerful families are common.
History
Reliquaris was founded in -2034 when five tribal countries formed an alliance to fight a sixth tribal country. Specifically, Numaris, Gentia, Siore, Oratio, and Dularam created the Quince Alliance in an attempt the eliminate Meridi, an aggressive southern tribal country. Each of the tribes had some form of leader, whether it was King, Emperor, or Shaman. As such, Reliquaris was first ruled by King Mobate from Numaris, Queen Irene from Gentia, King Chance from Siore, King Nitio from Oratio, and King Viri from Dularam. With their forces combined, they tried to take down Meridi. However, with five rulers, Reliquaris struggled to make decisions. They (somehow) decided they would narrow the amount of leaders to two. In order to decide who would remain as a leader, they decided to compete in a series of competitions to determine who was most worthy. From this, the origins of the Merit Competition was born. Eventually, King Mobate and Queen Irene won. Together, they were able to finally eliminate Meridi for good, with the war ending in -1993.
