Pink wonders of Ocrea

A cherry blossom is a flower of several trees native particularly to the continent of Ocrea. Many of the varieties that have been cultivated for ornamental use produce small, unpalatable fruit. In Ocrea, cherry blossoms symbolize clouds due to their nature of their blooming, besides being an enduring metaphor for the ephemeral nature of life, an aspect of Ocrean culture that developed long since the arrival of Europeans. It is also used to symbolize magic and spiritual elements of Ocrea, and has since became the main symbol of the Shulin faith, which depicts that the cherry blossom trees still hold some sort of magical energy.
The only known continent to have the cherry blossom is the islands of Japan, which was brought over by a fleet of ships from the Kingdom of Ocrea to colonize the islands before its destruction. The alliance between the Spanish and the Shajin clan introduced the flowers to Europe in the early 16th century and has become a luxury in European gardens.
