Many years after the expedition of Columbus, a single ambitious explorer and conqueror going by the name Hernán Cortés set out with an expedition of Spanish conquistadors from Cuba after hearing tales from many explorers of a land in needing of conquest in the name of Spain. But, unexpectedly, they come across a world filled with cherry blossom trees and plenty of life, only realizing this was not what they expected at all on this brand new continent - certainly nothing like what many expeditions described. And to their shock, they discover they are in the middle of numerous clans clashing for control over the entire continent, called Ocrea by the encountered natives, and that the Europeans have access to a brand new technology that can turn the tide of the war: gunpowder, enough to bring the walls of a fortress down, giving the people of Europe a part to play in the conflict after all.   This new era would mark down the first time Europeans ever found anything worthwhile west of Europe, and the first time they ever encountered magic in a foreign land, since the discovery of mythical beings that came from Asia, and it will be marked down as the era people of the Mediterranean took a wide interest in the beauty of these lands, either to explore, trade, build knowledge or to immigrate.
