Sarus the Deathbringer.

God Sarus, one of the four sibling deities, the plague, the death. He is worshipped by Nagataru, as one of the four deities in the Servants of the blood gods religion.

Backstory:

The world was once inhabited by all kinds of beasts and monsters, no humanoid in sight. Then the four deities came down onto the land and procreated with each other, creating the first Children of Myths and guided them the first few generations. Sarus taught them how to protect themselves against diseases and poisons and how to use them to defend themselves against dangers of the world. But after the four siblings left, it didn´t take long and a divide was created. The Children of Myths spread all over the world, eventually forgetting their roots and started to worship false deities. As a punishment, their skin colors were changed from red to blue, brown, green, etc. so their betrayal could be seen.

Appearance:

Sarus is depicted as a skinny man with very pale red skin, completely covered with long black robes, with a skull mask covering his face. He is surrounded by a green mist, holding a vial of a green liquid. Most of the time he is epicted making, or experimenting with his poisons an diseases on enemies.
  • Over the time, his depictions contain more gory and brutal poisons and diseases, such as swelling, giant boils and melting skin.
  • In some depictions he is not wearing his skull mask
  • In his depictions, his vial is most of the time different size and shape.

Domain:

Sarus is the god of death, disease, poison, alchemy, etc.

Symbol:

His symbol is a vial of poison pouting on a skull.
