Death house

A clever defense strategy employed by the Servants of the blood gods, where they build fake houses in their settlements, each holding a nasty surprise for incoming attackers.

Death houses are made to look like any other home, some even with furniture on the inside. They have some sort of a marking that lets the locals differentiate them, such a symbol made with white paint, or a red piece of cloth put on, or by the entrance door.
These houses are often filled with traps or rigged with explosives, as to kill more enemies during a raid, who enter these houses to kill the inhabitants and take the supplies, only to get decapitated by a blade trap or have them and anyone nearby explode.
