Diet:

They tend to eat mainly: fish {42%), fruits (20%), dairy (13%), vegetables (10%), meat (10%), other (5%)

Lifestyle:

Clothing:

One way to spot a Daynean is through their choice of clothing. Dayneans mostly wear white Greek-style tunics and sandals. Men most commonly wear short tunics, while women long tunics, all the way down to their ankles. Their choice of clothing is very simplistic, but richer Dayneans such as merchants tend to wear more fancy clothing in the same style. Most Dayneans wear masks, as it is dictated by the law by the Masked of Dantea.

Housing:

Dayneans build smaller square houses most commonly made out of stone or clay bricks, covered in plaster made out of lime and sand. The roofs are the same, or made out of straw, dried plants and wooden beams. Since they don´t really worry about security, Dayneans use cloth instead of proper doors and windows. Tho in some places they started to use proper wooden doors, mainly cities.

Work:

Dayneans are one of the most, if not the most hard working people. They work up to 12 hours a day, every day except holidays and Wednesdays, returning home in the evening. From the day they reach adulthood, up to their death. Due to how long they work, they spend little time with their families, including children.

Childcare:

Since Dayneans leave their children alone most of the day, they are free to run around playing with others, with little to no supervision, which might lead to injuries, or rarely even death. Parents pack some food for their children, or return home to make something for lunch.

Education:

Basic education about math, reading, writing, religion, etc. is handled by the local Temple of Dantea, where children stay until lunch, giving them less time to injure themselves, running around. Higher education is handled by parents or other Dayneans, willing to pass on their knowledge, most commonly master craftsmen.

Free time:

Children have a lot of free time, but adults, outside of holidays, also take a break from time to time. Some visit their local temple and pray or read books in their library, some spends time with their family, play games and others spend time walking around settlements, beaches or forests, or just resting. Children tend to play classic children´s games such as hide and seek or catch, or they just run around exploring.
