Vines

The vines of the forest are unique things. Most of them have some form of AI, but it is not for the purpose of intelligence. The AI they have is just to crawl around trees and cliffs, and make sure they grow properly. Some of them, however, can be deadly. Constrictors of incredible strength. Be careful of them, as it is just one of the many dangers in The Forest.

Basic Information

Anatomy

A vine with a inner structure similar to a snakes. Like the Cybernetic Trees they have complex circuitry and cybernetic networks within them, and rely heavily on biological solar panels embedded within them for energy. They also, however, steal nutrients from the Cybernetic Trees so they can continue to grow.

Genetics and Reproduction

No one is sure how a new vine is created, only that they are.

Vines just appear and continue growing. There is no growth stage that anyone has observed.

Optimal habitat would be The Forest specifically growing on and around the Cybernetic Trees

They require Sunlight and Nutrients. Sunlight gathered from the Sun, and Nutrients gathered from the Cybernetic Trees.

They are unaffected by the passing of time or seasonal changes.
