Gus Waters

Ello there, I’m Gus Waters. I’m nobody really. Just a farm kid from the East Haven Valley. I have like...literally the most boring life ever. My pops says I’ll be a man when I’m 16, or when I can handle the plow by myself, whichever comes first. I think he said this to try to make me WANT to plow or something. But I hate farming. Its boring. All we do is work and sleep and work and sleep and never seem to have enough coin no matter what. I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters. They will be fine without me. I don't even think they will notice I’m gone, honestly. Everyone is too tired and too busy. My ma once told me I was the bravest kid in the bunch of us Waters kids. I guess that’s maybe what I’m good at. Being brave. But being brave doesn’t really get you anywhere on a farm….
