House Borbazec
House Borbazec was once a powerful noble house that crossed House Redanerl, leading to its downfall. Persistent rumors claim that some members survived, and the house is now but a shadow of its former self, in more than one way.
No longer holding land, completely bankrupt, and with only castrated men remaining, they had to adapt; within the span of few years, they gained expertise in assassinations, poisons, subterfuge, intelligence, sabotage, and other such activities.
Culture
Borbazi culture was very reminiscent of the Abollonians'; though not as religious as them, they shared their worldview of society's classes and were highly involved in political intrigue.
This fact contributes to the plausiblity of their rumored fate, especially following the coronation of Demmus Bneurling and the establishment of the Bneurling dynasty.
Assets
Whatever might remain of house Borbazec could be running the Undercity of Navara.
Disbandment
House Borbazec was annihilated by House Redanerl in 221 ᗲ4 (1141). The Borbazeci estates, along with any and all family members and staff were put to the torch in a surprise night raid. Members who were not present were accounted for and later sought after and hunted down, being promptly executed. According to rumors, some members were kept alive but were castrated.
The Borbazec Index, a covert intelligence unit of the Kadian Intelligence Services operating under the ARA, was supposedly founded by whatever house members remained.
