Bleakford (Bleek-fed)

Located in the north of the Kingdom of Stonebia, and only half a days travel from the main port of Gathar, Bleakford stands on the coast of the northern sea and is home to people of a less savoury origin. It is believed that one of the ruling families of Gathar was exiled from the city due to their illegal acitivites, and so they decided to setup their own haven in the same peninsula as Gathar. While some might have thought the proximity to Gathar would be a detriment to the new community, it was actually the perfect location fo less than legal trade to happen as any ships that would be inspected could pass off with enough reasonable doubt that they were headed to Gathar and then at the last minute break away to Bleakford.
It's an open secret that the town is home to most of the kingdom's illegal trade, and as such it is often blockaded or raided by authorities. But the inhabitants have almost perfected the art of hiding their goods in plain sight meaning the raids results in almost nothing noteworthy to be confiscated.
While Bleakford was founded by the Ble'ak family, the dynasty has since fallen extinct. This has left the town without a leader on many, although brief, occasions. While there's no succession or election process, it is generally agreed that the crime boss with the most power, be it monetary or physical, controls the town. Currently the town is led by a Tabaxi called Lucky Locket (Lucky), and while she has a great degree of wealth, Lucky's curious nature means she is more interested in trading information.
Bleakford is also home to the most pleasure houses in the kingdom and many sailors arriving in Gathar try to sneak off for a night of passion in Bleakford. Soldiers from the nearby outpost of Ambergarde have also been known to sneak off during their night watch to enjoy the pleasures that await them in Bleakford.
