In the wake of their various conflicts with the Fallen and their followers, the nations of the world had become immensely powerful and keen practitioners of war. As such they brought upon themselves a more devastating conflict than even the gathered forces of darkness could and through it, brought forth calamities greater than any before seen.

The Veilstrife is the most catastrophic event in recorded history. A war that saw a dozen generations of people live and die under constant threat of incredible violence.
