Pillar of the East Wind

On the easternmost point of Nov Matar on the isle of Suju Waiban, there sits the Pillar of the East Wind, one of the eight Pillars of Heaven. About ten feet across at the base and a hundred feet high, the pillar is rough-hewn out of what looks like pure rose quartz. It glows a soft pink hue when a gentle east wind blows about it such that on some days there are two dawns.
