Guardian of the Moon, Captain of the Archenlord's Faithful

Among those who refused to bend the knee to Iarax was Illume, guardian of the moon.
Illume, guardian of the moons, was among the most powerful and beautiful of The Ancients. But above all she is hailed as the most faithful of the Archenlord's servants, even unto death. When Iarax rebelled against the Archenlord, he wooed many to his side either through threats or promises of glory and power. But Illume refused to bow her knee to him. She became the captain of the Faithful during the Battle of the Ancients, wielding the Sword of First Light against the forces of darkness and chaos.
Now Illume is seen as a model for faithfulness, healing and vigilance.

Though it is not specifically Illume's holiday, the Feast of Lights, has a lot to do with her. The Feast of Lights is a holiday marking the end of the year. It coincides with the aligning of the moons. Children conceived or born during this time are said to be blessed by Illume.
