Mansions of Xarith
Xarith is a wealthy city in Northmarsh, located on the eastern end of the continent. In the capital houses are largely grand in stature, with the richest folk from the lands gravitating towards this place.
Many folk living in grand mansions across Xarith, but especially in Fruwem Place, the northwestern quarter. Some inhabitants are from wealthy families, and others may have earned it themselves, but many enjoy large homes with elegant structures.
Although folk may own their homes in title, all properties of Xarithria are ultimately owned by Bushena, Goddess of Hope and ruler of the lands herself, which allows her the power to evict households as needed for her judiciaries should she need them.
Purpose / Function
The mansions were built to withstand attack from enemies, no matter the type. Those originally created by Lianeous herself have since been cleansed of evil magic and new spells have been placed upon them by Bushena herself through the use of wards. Should an enemy go close to a particularly important person's mansion, they will lose their way, forgetting the directions and being unable to work out where they are going despite their destination being in front of them.
Alterations
Some folk alter the colouring of their mansions, whilst others simply prefer to keep to the original style. A large amount of the mansions in Xarith were created by Lianeous herself, but all have been altered and cleansed since by Bushena to avoid any chance of lingering ill magic.
Architecture
Created with stone bases and a mixture of stone and wood panelling, the mansions are sturdy and built to withstand assault.
