Wisdom Polkweed

Wisdom Polkweed is a weed found in the boglands to the south of Hilford and is known to harbour psychadelic qualities. Used most commonly by those in poverty for escapism, Wisdom Polkweed is so named in three parts.

Wisdom

Known to create the feeling of ultimate wisdom for all who consume the weed, it gives a sense of knowledge and many proclaim to know the world's truths after intoxication.

Polk

Named after the wizard who first brought the weed to the knowledge of the public, through many displays of daring and much talking about just how magnificent it was. Although James Polk was keen to shout of the amazing qualities, it was never made clear as to why he decided to consume it, without knowing of it's danger first.

Basic Information

Anatomy

The weed has red hues and is most comonly found in the bog-lands of Hilford, though can show up in any wet or damp and muddy areas. Some cases have been reported of addicts aiming to recreate the weed in their own homes, in bathtubs full of mud and moss, but as yet few have succeeded in creating the perfect temperatures aside from those with magical abilities.

Genetics and Reproduction

Wisdom Polkweed reproduces quickly, especially in the right environment. Most commonly found in the bog-lands to the south of Hilford, it can also be found in any other similar climate. The weed reproduces asexually, by dropping seeds to the floor around it which take just days to sprout and grow to full size, continuing the life cycle.

Growth Rate & Stages

The weed grows rapidly, from seedling to fully grown takes just one week, giving off the psychedelic effects from just the second day. The only thing known to kill it off is extreme heat, hence Wisdom Polkweed is never found in the Vuuding Deserts or any similar locations.

Ecology and Habitats

Wisdom Polkweed prefers a damp environment, ideally in bog-lands. It will still grow in wet locations but the growth from seed to fully grown can double to two weeks in this environment. It will not grow at all in dry, warm areas, as this is known to kill the weed off.

Biological Cycle

The weed can last many years, and when the last leaves die off, more seeds are planted in the same spot, hence once an infestation takes route it is difficult to stop. Agriculturalists are currently looking in to ways to control the spread and protect anyone wishing to partake in the psychedelic effects.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Wisdom Polkweed is used for Psychadelic trips, which leave the person consuming the weed in a state of High Definition, but with low strength and constitution, becoming more susceptible to harm for the duration of the trip. Unfortunately trip length can vary due to the nature of it being a wild plant, as a result medical advice is to have as little as possible to begin with and slowly increase the dose to get the desired effect should you wish to partake.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Once consumed Wisdom Polkweed is known to give Psychadelic affects which leave the taker aware of their surroundings but in high definition. It is said to promote one's wisdom and ability to focus, but at the detriment to their constitution and strength. Those who chose to consume Wisdom Polkweed are advised not to do so in dangerous settings, as there have been many documented cases of people being injured or in some case dying due to the location they chose to consume the weed.
