Jyana Crosslinks is a name known across the lands, Jyana was the person who gave her life to slay the monsters guarding Lianeous, Goddess of Death and Disaster. After the spectacular showdown, Lianeous' was defeated by her sister and fellow Celestial, Bushena, and the power she held over Northmarsh for the previous 300 years was released, given back once more to Bushena.
Jyana is known to be a hero, and is fabled to be the greatest of all time. A result of her bravery, annually on the 14th of Vrasp Crosslinks Day is held, and all across the world folk celebrate her life and remember Jyana's heroic death.

Jyana grew up as a young elf in the Glorious Era, and remembered well the day that Lianeous overthrew Bushena and threw the world into the Era of Despair. Always a follower of Bushena, she vowed never to follow Lianeous and knew one day she would aid in overthrowing her rule.
Jyana didn't know however that her life would end doing just that, and it was on the final day she knew what was going to happen that she accepted her fate and threw herself into the battle. Jyana knew the only possible outcome which would lead to winning the battle was death for all involved, and she willingly gave her life to save the world of the terrible force of Lianeous.

Jyana Crosslinks died the same day that Northmarsh was restored to it's former glory. On the 14th of Vrasp 523 she assisted in the overthrowing of the Goddess of Death and Destruction, Lianeous, by destroying the beasts that protected her.
