Goblins

Goblins are wistbeasts that can reproduce. This is a rare trait in wistbeasts, requiring factors to line up. For sexual reproduction, there must be functioning organs on multiple compatible species, and even if that occurs, having children that can also reproduce is still a rarity. More common is asexual reproduction, i.e. cloning, which is an infrequent ability in wistbeasts most commonly found when plant life is corrupted and animated. For example, imagine a wistree that fertilizes and plants its own seeds.
They are the main priority for eradication when adventuring mages arrive at wistorm hit land.

Genetics and Reproduction

The only trait that truly separates goblins from wistbeasts is the ability to reproduce. Within those boundaries, any other genetic features are possible, though the nature of wistbeasts is to have a certain level of balance to their abilities, and so goblins are frequently on the weaker end as individuals.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Like all wistbeasts, goblins are dependent on wist to continue their existence, and struggle to passively absorb the energy of the wistfield. They spend much of their time sleeping, and only rise to hunt for natural creatures to regain wist.
