Alihtar Earldom

The Earldom is a great rice cultivation area located at the end of the mighty Ravsak river. The Earldom is very closely connected to the Akhaya Earldom upstream.

Demography and Population

177,000 people live here, almost all of the rural farmers

Agriculture & Industry

The main crop is rice. The nature of the delta area along the coast here does not lend itself well to a strong fishing industry There is a locally distilled rice wine which is made in individual homes and not on a commercial basis. The rice wine is not exported

Trade & Transport

Almost all travel is via small boats in the various channels. There is one major road which leads from the capital of Akhalawa to Akrah in the Earldom of Akhaya Exports are done via the port of Muhar in Hateria
