The Southern Market is a large, bustling market in the South Side of Dustbane City, where essentials needed for the harsher desert climates are sold. This is where sellers manipulate uninformed buyers into paying higher prices for goods while scamming or robbing them.

Demographics

The people that frequent these markets are mainly desperate Humanoids and a few lost Humans. Most of the visitors are travellers who were either teleported there as per the Dustbane City norm, or travelled to the South Side to escape the North Side (though one would wonder whether the South Side was worth the journey).

There are no obvious defences against the Southern Markets. It is a free-for-all place

The inhabitants of the Southern Markets are street vendors, selling food, water and clothes. The market is near a few bodies

Geography

The Southern Market is built on the South Side, where there is plenty of desert around. There is hardly any water because there isn't much rainfall in the area. There is a lake on the outskirts of Dustbane City where people try to get as much water as possible. The marketplace also has a nearby stream that leads straight into the Nordic Sea.
