History
The Sanguine Principality was formed by a conclave of vampire lords during a period of intense vampire hunting. They merged their private domains into one large kingdom for mutual defense and expanded it using slave labor, theft and political intrigue. It is considered a rogue state by all its neighbors and universally hated. It is one of the main buyers of slaves on the continent. It has remained neutral in conflicts between other nations and capitalized on unrest to take what they want abroad.
