Nicolas de la Wren was the first born heir of the de la Wrens, son of Baroness Lucretia de la Wren. He inherited at 10 when his mother died. He and his sister Marianna never liked noble politics, leaving the stewardship to their loyal but long-suffering uncle Umberto. Both took to the adventuring life after dropping out of the Aguilan Academie. Nicolas recruited his friend Ash Duir to the party when they founded the Wrenguard in response to the Cthulid crisis. Nicolas then fell in love with Ash who they married. Both eventually retired to the Barony, raising their sons Antoine and Andre, and then their grandchildren. Nicolas was a much loved patriarch of the family who was always helpful, if a bit flippant and flighty.
