Myconids

A species of sentient mushroom people who are born from the specialized spores being planted with fungal types which form the Myconid. All myconids are telepaths that communicate through sharing thoughts through a psychic network built through mycelial networks and nearby nodes that they build. Other species can be temporarily inducted through communication spores but the effect is temporary and often stressful to connect with so many minds at once. Myconids are almost universally non-violent unless attacked and friendly. They love ot share thoughts with others and will welcome other beings into their collectives. Some myconids will temporarily leave th ecollective to explore and create new experiences to share on its return.
