Marianna de la Wren is the second child of Lucretia de la Wren, Baroness of Terra Rossa. She grew up with her brother Nicolas, and had even more of a taste of adventure than her brother. She was the first to drop out of the Academieand was mentored by Fergal Mac Donachaid as a fighter. She helped to found the Wrenguard in response to the Cthulid crisis. She pioneered the customs and beliefs of the Wrenguard with an emphasis on honor and responsiveness. She would write down the lessons of the years which would be required reading for all Wrenguards. She married Thymyl DeCasa, an innkeeper she met in her travels. They set up a large tavern in Goldenfield where they lived out their days. She was not particularly involved with her Aguilan family after her retirement.
