Kalmot Gast is the only child of the Goldenfield Gasts, a gnomish smithing family. He didn't take to smithcraft and instead apprenticed to hunters. He became interested in adventuring during his apprenticeship and impressed Luca de la Wren with his archery skills which led him to be apprenticed to the Wrenguard. Here he met Martell de la Wren-Corno. They would fall for each other during their training and have been recently engaged. Kalmot is the master tracker of the Wrenguard.
