Fish Folk

“The Fish Folk”, or as they call themselves, Qoshians, are a race related to changelings but not weres as their transformations are voluntary and not a product of magic but inherent ability. Almost all of them live in tribal groups defined by the animal form they take. They live in small half-aquatic, half-terrestrial villages. The cultures are diverse, especially by animal type. Sharks often pirate and raid, as do Dolphins but Manatee folk are very friendly and shy. They all trace their lineage back to a common tribe of changeling druids who changed themselves to adapt to the oceans. They go back to the sacred isle where this occured every year to mate, and for unmated youthes, to find their mate. It is a 9 day celebration The five types of Fish Folk are: Manatee (Beasthide), Dolphin (Swiftstride), Shark (Longtooth), Octopus (Wildhunt w/ a +1 to dexterity) and Cuttlefish (Wildhunt w/ a +1 to stealth ). Octopus and Cuttlefish live in cave villages beneath the water and rarely surface. They are adepts at magic. They worship a variety of sea gods, whatever suits their tribe but the most common are Manannan Mac Lir, Akhelios and Enki.     5e Shifter stats
