Armandra Hammer is the only child of the silversmithing Hammers of Gardarod, a dwarf clan in the south of the Tsardom. She grew up among a primarily dwarven community and found it deeply boring. She studied with the priests and also found this boring. She set out then and was recruited as the healer to the Wrenguard during the Deepfolk Crisis. She met Isabella de la Wren during this time and they fell in love. They were married following the Crisis. She is an outspoken voice in the Wrenguard for being more proactive in supporting the common people.
