Argead-Nishari War
The Conflict
Prelude
The Empire of Alexander swept through the Achaemenid Empire and, on the edges of Gujr's empire, continued their invasion. Envoys were sent to the capital (modern-day Amaadghar), and battles soon began.
Deployment
Battles first began on the Gujran southwestern border, around modern-day Kattkota. After that, Alexander marched straight to the capital, taking it on the one-year anniversary of the war beginning. After the fall of Gujrapura and Mulasthana, Maharani Devi I retreated to Arorkot, taking the majority of the army, A small contingent took the rest of the Royal Family, including the Maharani's siblings and children, went to the Hindu Kush Mountains to hideout the war, as the Maharani knew this would be a losing cause. From Arorkot, the Maharani fought for 3 more years, repelling attacks from Alexander's generals, until Alexander himself led an attack on the city, where a last-ditch sortie by the Maharani led to her death, officially ending the war.
Battlefield
The harshest battlefields during the war included around Mulasthana, Arorkot, and the Hindu Kush Mountains. In the Hindu Kush Mountains, the Gujran soldiers mainly used hit-and-run tactics, and this theater was often referred to as the first instance of Guerilla Warfare. Around Mulasthana, the fields were mainly burned to prevent a solid food supply from being present in the city. The story was the same in Arorkot, and, unfortunately, the damage it faced in its sacking was so intense that it never came back as a large city, slowly fading into ruins.
Outcome
With the death of Nisha I and the disappearance of her family, it was believed by many that the bloodline of Gujr had been extinguished, leading to much of the population losing faith and accepting Argead Rule.
Aftermath
As the Gujran bloodline had been thought to be extinguished, when the children of Nisha I rose up and announced their presence, the population rallied behind them and joined their war efforts.
The city of Arorkot is almost completely destroyed, and slowly fades into a ruin. The city of Mulasthana (modern-day Amaadghar) is also damaged, although most of the damage is to the surrounding countryside, and the city is able to bounce back after a short time, forming a continuum with Gujrapura as the capital, following the revolt.

Historical Significance
Legacy
Alexander's victory led to an increased Greek presence within the former Gujran Empire. This carried over into the modern era, where many of the most popular Nishari names descend from Greek ones, and many war terms are Greek in origin. Additionally, the Nishari mythical progenitor, Maanun, comes from the Trojan hero Memnon. This mythical association goes so far that, in certain areas of the country, the Greek gods are known as secondary names for their Nishari counterparts.
