Vunar (Voo-n-ar)

The vunar are a race of angellic like being with wings. They are told to be the most beautiful race in all of Nirmir. Before the elves took over their territory they were the most powerful species in the land. Then, the elves expanded across the land and took their territory. This caused them to be enslaved for most of history. Luckly however, when humans took the territory they treated them as their own kind. When asked why, they said "they look to much like humans". Now the species residsed in the Ostite empire and is rising back from near extinction. Pure Vunar live to be 400 years old but mixed vunar could live from 100-300 years depending on the other race.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Most Vunar are winged people similar to humans. Unfortunatlly the species is loosing its wings as they are breeding with human. They live longer than even the elven races but now since of mixed breading with humans they are living for around 100-200 years or around half of their usual life.

Biological Traits

Vunar are a race of people who live longer than the elves if pure. As a whole the species can live from 90-500 years old. Their average height for males are 5'5 and females 5'3. The average Vunar weighs around 120-150 pounds.

The Vunar gentics are similar to humans.

Growth Rate & Stages

The pure vunar live to be 400 years with the oldest living up to 500 years. They are kids up until 35 when they become teens. They become adults at the age of 62 and become elders at the age of 387 years old. The mixed vunar usually live around 100-200 if half human, 237-344 if half dwarf, 90-110 if half orcish, and 260-379 if half elf.

The Vunar orgionally come from grasslands south of Iddesseoa, they could also be found farther into Iddesseoa.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Vunar are a hunting and gathering race mostly but thanks to the humans colonizing their territory they are now learning how to farm.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

During their enslavement, the Vunar were used for their flying capabilities. They were used to bring blocks to build tall structures and to get stuff from high up in the trees.

Facial characteristics

Most male Vunar either have blue, green, or hazel eyes. while girls either have brown, hazel, or green eyes.

The Vunar are origionally from the grasslands south of Iddesseoa. They now have some territories in the grasslands in Freger.

the average Vunar is very intellegent, they can sometimes outsmart the elves which makes them mad.

Beauty Ideals

They are said to be the most beautiful creature you could ever see but, for them it was a challenge keeping their beuty. The race always bathed almost every week and cleaned their wings with special combs/brushes. They also had to always have clean clothes. The women were expected to wear a kind of makeup that was put around their eyes.

women were expected to be gatherers while men were hunters.

Major Language Groups and Dialects

most of the vunar spoke a kind of tounge that the other races said were magic. Their language was called Chakata and was used in most of their primitive civilizations as it was a magical language that could enhance the persons "Charisma". For enstance, when Avalong sings in Chakata she could make people dance and sing without them even realizing that they are doing it. Another is when the elven nation came to their territory they used their voices to trick the elves into not enslaving them for a while.

History

They are said to be one of the oldest speices alive and before the elves enslaved them they had a major nation that was filled with their primitive culture. Then the elvens attack and tried to enslave them, the first try failed because of the Vunars magical language. In the second try however the elves wore something to block their hearing so they could enslave them. When they were most had their mouth shut or some even had their tounge cut off so their words couldn't harm the elves. When the humans fought in the great war they gathered lots of vunar and sent them back in their territory. Now the Ostite empire protects most of the vunar species.
