Followers of Arunei, the Lady of Life
As Kaiteron, Lord or Order and Light is to order, Arunei, the Lady of Life is to life. As a result, Her followers are sworn to the preservation of life in all its forms. As almost all life first arose from water, the followers of Arunei are predominantly Triton. Their temple-cities are devoted to different aspects of their Lady, and can be found scattered throughout the waters of the Great Lake and beyond.
Little is known to the outside world of the rituals and powers found within the sacred spaces of the Triton. Occasionally Triton will set off from their aquatic homes to cultivate and deepen their understanding of life above the surface. These emissaries of Arunei show a deep respect for the idiosyncrasies of other species and rarely interfere with the natural process of life. They bring their discoveries back to their temple-cities, where the knowledge is then used to enrich their worship.
