Detritoni

The Detritoni share ancestors with the Triton found within the Great Lake and beyond. Their society flourished in a massive underground lake, where they worship the demigod Arosh who is the servant of their Goddess of light, Haru'nesh. The depiction of their goddess bears remarkable similarity to the Triton goddess Arunei, worshipped by the Followers of Arunei, the Light of Life. 
Mysterious circumstances led to the fall of Arosh, cascading the Detretoni into a dark age. The priests of Arosh foretold of a group of travellers who would one day return light to their civilization. After millennia of silence, the Lightborn of Nima crashed Detretoni waters, ultimately bringing about the completion of the ancient prophesy. Upon the revival of Arosh, communication is being reestablished along ancient lines between the Detritoni and their Triton cousins.
