Midwoods

The large town of Midwoods is a well-standing and prosperous one, for it is the realms direct trade link to the tribes

and cities of "The Wetlands". It was established in the aftermath of the Aurelian Rebellion when the lord "Palrue Aurelia" granted the "Woods Of Aurelia's" people a place from where they could govern their own land. Today Midwoods has largely fallen back under the lord of Highrock's command and has therefore pursued the route of a trading post, mostly successfully. The town is placed right in the center of the great oak forest, along the main road to and from the northern realms. Besides being a just another marketplace, it also has a very strong military presence and holds the only bastion of the Blue Coats outside Ahl'Khun Astu.
