Geography

A hot desert planet uninhabitable by Humans.   The surface is a barren rocky wasteland dotted by active volcanoes and impact craters; a giant canyon runs through the northern hemisphere.   Of no particular interest for Humans aside from the occasional alien relic to be found on the surface, most of them being in poor conditions due to prolonged exposure.   Four unmanned vehicles were sent on the surface; the fourth one reported the first relic, which prompted many governments to fund space programmes to recover them, in the hope of acquiring alien technologies not under Deshivohai possession in the ongoing technological race Humanity is in. Only two of the more than twenty expeditions launched on the planet's surface reported any alien artefacts, most of which in very poor condition.   The most important find was made by the Gweban's expedition, which found the overexposed remains of a crash site full with several pieces of the hull and a few artefacts.
