The Blackened Soul Ritual

A spell used to turn oneself into a Lich. It requires an individual to create the specific ritual circle, then place themselves at the center of it.
Once this has been done correctly, the individual will find themselves craving flesh. They must then consume a minimum of 39 people in a week's time for their souls and kana to guarantee their transformation into a Lich. Once an individual does this, they must wait until exactly a week has passed from completion of the ritual for their transformation to complete and grant them this power.
If they succeed, they become a Lich. If not, they are instead transformed into a Wight.

History

This spell was developed by an unknown person who used it to become a Lich and terrorize towns and people before being slain by an unnamed group of heroes. This took place 5 years before the Year of Ascension. Since then, others have learned and use the ritual to attempt to become Liches themselves.

Execution

One must create a ritual circle with the required symbology to enchant themselves to be able to consume life force and souls from living flesh. Once this has been done, the ritualist must head out and consume sapient beings for the ritual.

Any material that can be used to paint or draw the ritual circle may work.
