Darkvision

Kholeos have always lived a life guided by the night, and in return they are grace with darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Sturdy Exoskeleton

The chitin plating on your body protects the majority of your fleshy body, providing good protection against piercing and stabbing. Your base AC is 15. Your unique form means that you cannot properly cover yourself in armor, so you do not receive bonuses from wearing it. You, however, can receive bonuses from equipping a shield.

Strong Stability

Despite your otherwise light body, your musculature and sharp claws on the tip of your feet allow you to dig deeply into the ground. If you have to make a saving throw against an attack that would knock you Prone, you gain advantage.

Hopper

While your kind cannot sustain flight, you are able to leap and gain air for a short distance using the hindwings hidden beneath your elytra. As an action on your turn, you are able to make a jump that transports you up to 15 feet away. You also have proficiency in Acrobatics.

Stargazer

Your kind has always relied on the night sky to guide their culture and their way. When attempting to navigate at night, you are able to use the stars to guide your way. You have proficiency in Nature, and you gain an advantage on Survival skill checks if they are performed with the sky visible.
